Welcome!

I am a Politics and Social Policy Joint Degree PhD Candidate at Princeton University. I am affiliated with the Princeton University Center for the Study of Democratic Politics, a recipient of the Prize Fellowship in Social Sciences, and a Policy Fellow at Reinvent Albany.

I study urban politics, with a focus on land-use, housing, homelessness, and municipal finance. My dissertation focuses on the challenges facing pro-housing reforms. Chapter 1 examines how public opinion towards pro-housing reform responds to differing spatial scales. Chapter 2 examines real-estate developers’ perspectives on housing politics. Chapter 3 examines how local politicians balance competing demands around land-use regulation.

I received my B.A. in Economics and Political Science from New York University before working as a Research Associate at the Citizens Budget Commission in New York City, where I researched policy issues around homelessness, affordability, policing, and municipal finance.
